- Oct 09, 2015 I cannot get DVD drive to work on my Dell inspiron 14R laptop after installing Windows 10. Have checked through Dell and supposedly everything is working ok - it's not. Checked with Microsoft and they told me to update all my drivers. Did that, still doesn't work. Tried the troubleshooting thing on Windows 10 = no help.
